After one week I'm beginning to get settled....
Today was the first day of class and at 11:30 I had my first University Class ever, Psychology.....
I bought the textbook, which was $113, a lot of money for just one class....
My Prof is really nice and the class sounds interesting, we will only be having 4 tests throughout the year and out of the 4 only 3 will be counting towards our final mark!

Yesterday I went home for the day, I went to Ikea in the morning did my laundry in the afternoon and then from 6-9 I had staff training at the YMCA!
It's sad to say but nothing has really changed at the Y, it's still the same people minus a few and some new additions but time tends to stand still...
Something interesting did happen though, in the summer someone called the heath departement about the lack of air circulation....

On Saturday O-week concluded with Shinerama (a car wash) I was so excited but it ended up not being all that fun....
We didn't have a water supply so we had to cart water from the grocery store to the far corner of the parking lot where the car wash was taking place. After doing Shinerama I've realized that people are very unwilling to donate and avoid you at all costs....
At Shinerama because of the lack of water we started by Shining people's windshields when they had carted enough water we started washing cars....

Carnival Day was on Friday, it was a great idea but not well thought-out, Carnival was from 11-5 and during that time they had rented bouncy things, after being their for an hour we had done every bouncy thing and eaten lunch.....

Orientation week was a lot of fun I met so many new people and did so many different activities!
